hi all,
anyone had this happen? it could be a coincidence, but i think this happened right after i updated to 11.3.1. in short, a thread i had with a friend in messages split itself in two on Messages on the Mac. it still shows up as 1 thread on my iPhone.
yesterday, when it cropped up, i thought it was a weird glitch and fluke. i determined which thread was populated when i typed from my iPhone and then proceeded to delete the short new thread on the Mac since that one didn't receive messages typed on my phone. yet, today, the problem cropped up again except for whatever reason, Messages took two texts i had from yesterday on the "good thread" and populated a new thread on my mac. now messages typed on my phone go to this new, short thread.
sigh...first world problems, but annoying since this friend's conversation on the Mac is several years old and i like having the long record in one place.
(i have it vaporize after 30 days on my phone)
