Oddly enough, resetting the NVRAM seemed to work for about 10 seconds after booting, then the screen went blank as if it detected a new display, and I'm stuck back in 30hz, regardless of whether I'm at 2160p or at 1080p HiDPI.

I've searched quite a bit, and found plenty of people who were having issues with earlier versions of Big Sur, but I didn't have any issues till updating to 11.4.

Anyone else experience this? Any fixes?

Edit: This is on a 2019 16" Macbook Pro with 8GB 5500M
