My friend was offering to sell me a 11.6 inch 2010 MBA a few months ago, but I passed it up. Fast forward to today and he hasn't found a buyer. He's trying to downsize what he owns, so he decided just to give it to me for free. It's still running Yosemite, but I want to downgrade it back to Snow Leopard. Problem is, I don't have the reinstall USB that it came with.
I do have a 10.6 retail disk, which I could restore to a flash drive and install from. Problem there is it might not boot. All the hardware should be supported, but I don't think the 320M has drivers. Not sure if it would let me in without GPU acceleration to install updates. (Note that it is possible to install versions older than what the Mac shipped with if the drivers are loaded, 10.5.0 on 2008 iMac, 10.4.7 on 2008 iMac, 10.6.0 on late 2009 iMac etc)
If that fails, would anyone know if somebody has either uploaded an image of the reinstall software or has a wholesale listing somewhere?
