Is there a limit amount of apps on homescreens?
I have filled up 11 homescreens with apps on iphone 4s. Now every new app is not visible on homescreen, but will show up in a search.

Ha ha probably but i have been able to have 250 apps on my iPhone without folders , how many apps you have ?

I'd go absolutely mad trying to wade through a couple hundred apps to get to the ones I actually use on a regular basis.

You got "other" problems if you got that many apps on your device. There is no way you could be using them all and most would be the "free and useless" variety and not worth the memory they are taking up!

You can have up to 16 apps per homescreen.

That's a lot of homescreens and apps...as kfergiez wrote, you should try to use the folder feature. I have 117 apps and only two homescreens.

yeah i have something like 145 apps, maybe 150+ by now and only have 2 home screens. Most are games and i put them 12 at a time in a folder.

I have 220 apps on three homescreens. Folders, man. That's what they're for. (And no, I don't use all of them all the time, but I use the majority of them some of the time, and about 40 on a regular basis.) Some of them I use rarely, but need for work. Some are games I like to have handy. If I start filling my 32GB, I'll delete some of the lesser used ones, but for now, I'm fine. I have 9 GB free and could EASILY wipe 2-4 GB if I needed the space.

I've got 99 apps on 3 homescreens myself.

I know I'm kinda changing the subject here, but as an aside mostly to the guys with 200+ on 2 homescreens - how are they organized into folders? I don't think I've found a way I'm truly happy with yet.

That's how I have mine setup except I title my folders with my first initial and last name along with a number. I use the multitask function to switch between apps. Much easier that way. Folders are definitely the way to go.

how can you do that?

I'm ready for this 4s to be jailbroken already

Once the jailbreak is out. ;)

My first two phones had so many apps it was stupid. I suddenly realized I had no need for 10 clock apps, 5 weather apps, two calculators, etc. It only took me 6 phones to realize this though.

I have two folders on my home row with my "Commonly" used apps, that way they're accessible no matter which home screen I'm on.

17 posts and not a single answer to your question...

Yes, there is a limit of 11 home screens. As someone earlier pointed out, each home screen will hold 16 apps, so you can have a total of 180 apps on your phone before you either need to start using folders or will have to search to start them up.
