So my current cycle count on my 11" 2013 MacBook Air is at 1035. When it hit around 1117, it gave me that dreaded message of "Replace Battery Soon". I checked it two days ago, and it was back to "Normal". I checked it today on Coconut Battery, and it has 76.5% of original capacity and the status is "Good".

Now, the funny thing is.. it seemingly has improved. When I got the Replace Soon message, the battery was draining a lot quicker than it normally does. Now? It's completely normal again.. I'm confused by this. Anyone ever experience this? How long do you usually have left in the battery before it needs to be replaced after you get the replacement message?

Sounds like a one off to me, just use is as normal until it stops charging.

I just checked my 2012 11" Air with coconut. 141 cycles and I'm around 93%.

That is really a strange story.
I have a mid2011 mba11`, fornwhich Inhave just ordered a new battery. The old one gave up after 668 cycles according to Coconut battery.
Could a faulty battery charge controller be the case?
