After installing watchOS7, I noticed very poor battery life on my series 5 watch. On average, I am getting 14 hours of battery life. I have erased the watch fully and also tried to pair with the phone again but same result.

I noticed the battery health has dropped to 89%. I assume this is not normal for an 11 month old watch? My series 4 battery health is at 98% 😱

Just wondering if I should book it in for a Genius Bar appointment...

A lot of people have batter issues since Os7. Unpair and re-pair your watch and it should be fine

already tried this but battery life is still very poor.
Wondering if it’s to do with battery health degrading to 89% after just 11 months of use

my day 1 ceramic is at a 93% max battery when i check settings.. i don't think apple entertains any battery qns if it's more then 80%? if you bought applecare+ then maybe it's not so bad cos we have 3 yrs coverage..

It’s going to be poor at first. Leave it alone and use it. Mine was poor for the first few days

Any updates or news?

Updated to watchOS 7.0.2 and seemed a bit better. Apparently Apple won’t replace the battery till it’s health is 80% or lower so I haven’t taken it in to repair.

Is Battery Health still at 89%?
