so I just got my new iPhone today and trying to transfer some data from computer using iTunes, however I'm getting this error saying
"Tunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone “iPhone”. Go to the Summary tab in iPhone preferences and click Restore to restore this iPhone to factory settings."
I tried to Macs but same error.
does anyone have the same issue?

Get a hard drive and install Catalina on it (beta or not) and see if situation changes. I was forced to backup and upgrade my High Sierra to Catalina just to get my iPhone restored to a previous build for troubleshooting.

Did your iTunes prompt you to install an update? It should have so that it can read a phone with iOS 13.

If it didn’t maybe restart your Mac and plug in phone again and see if you get the update box.

Here’s what the box should look like: https://macreports.com/software-upd...t-to-your-ios-device-installation-failed-fix/
