This is kind of update from my earlier post about the dimming problem on my phone. Well the news is: update! it’s gotten a whole lot worse! The phone gets extremely hot. Cannot be outside with it for more than 20 minutes before it starts to dim like it’s doing right now posting this post. And today I got this message, well this is a first. $1200 later and I’m disappointed. I should’ve stuck with android.Surprise I cannot use my phone until cools down except for emergencies. Really over this iPhone ********

Well apparently I was very hot. I had it on the table outside in the shade. Never ever had this issue with any of my android phones. I’m almost tempted when it gets too hot chuck it in the pool and see how waterproof it actually is.I could be sitting in my car with the ac on and It happens It’s ridiculous. If I can’t use my phone for 20 (That’s being generous it usually starts doing after 10minutes) outside really no point in me having it.

I goes u did a restart and checked for running processes. If this doesn’t help Get a replacement. Seems to be something wrong.

Sometimes products malfunction and or have an unknown defect. Android phones can suffer from problems as well.

Instead of complaining here, you need to contact Apple ASAP. Your phone is still under warranty. Apple will make it right. You have been complaining about this since May and still haven’t contacted Apple. Don’t blame Apple if you aren’t going to exercise some common sense about a product under warranty.

Posts like yours absolutely infuriate me. You have done nothing but moan about your phone in multiple threads on here, saying you should never half left android blah blah blah blah blah. Yet you’ve taken zero responsibility and spoken to Apple to get them to sort it out. Why are you here? What is the point? You have seven posts, and every single one is about the exact same issue.

Why don’t you just tell us the real story? Why won’t you speak to Apple about this?

Might be a issue with your phone, get it replaced.

it hits 40 degrees Celsius here is Australia during the summer, never get a temperature warning.

Switching to a inferior operating system ain’t the answer.

Get your phone replaced.

Where did you buy the phone? Maybe take it back, it sounds like they sold you a lemon of a device, potentially one that should have been in the reject pile.

I have never seen this message on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and I got it during summertime here in South Africa, spent many days using it outside while having a braai (cookout) in the sun and not a single issue.

Take the phone back to Apple like everybody on this forum has been advising you to do for the past 2 months when you joined to complain about this.

If you can’t get to an Apple store, ring them. You’ll get a replacement within days, it’s as simple as that.
