Even after 2 years my battery health is still 100% which I find amazing, usually after a 2 year cycle it’s at around 86% or something. Also I don’t have 5G in my area yet…..so thinking it may be worth sticking it out for another year……anyone else with an 11 pro thinking similar or is it still a worthy upgrade this year?

I’m on the same boat. My batter health is also 100% which I find hard to believe. I think I can ride it out for another year but I am very tempted for the camera alone. The image quality on the 11 Pro is fantastic but I do see a difference compared to the 12 so I can image the 13 will only be better. There is 5G where I live but it doesn’t seem to be widespread enough to merit an upgrade, and LTE is pretty damn fast here.

how are you guys still sitting at 100%
my 11 pro max is at 90% battery but i’m still on the fence about upgrading to 12 pro max or not

either i’m getting old or i really don’t feel the difference to be worth $2k

I went from an 11 Pro Max to a 12 Pro & wish I hadn't bothered - there's very little real-world difference. Treat yourself to a new case instead.

i feel the same is to be said for the 13 pro max.
might as well wait it out for the 14 if we’ve already skipped the 12.

No idea by the time I go to sleep it’s on around 30%…..I just seem to charge it overnight every night whilst sleeping and it still says 100% health, first phone to do it mind. Not sure if it’s to do with the clever charging feature that it learns the charging patterns and stops at 80%ish then carries on later? For instance last night i started at midnight…it went up to 80% by 1am then stopped….then started charging again at 4am and finished by 5am…..I never actually knew it did this until last night lol

I’m definitely considering the 13 Pro Max coming from a 11 Pro Max.

My battery health is now at 87% but my 11 Pro Max still lasts a full day on iOS 15, so I am very happy with it overall, but I would like to get that 13 Pro Max for the camera and larger screen.

The ProMotion will be great to keep consistency with my iPad Pro but it’s not a big deal.

Love the camera improvements Apple have done.

I am now just interested in seeing the Battery Life, I know they say it lasts 2.5hours longer than 12 Pro Max, but that is not saying much as 12 Pro Max was a regression from 11 Pro Max, so I am waiting to see how the 13 Pro Max lasts.

Right now the 11 Pro Max is still king in PhoneBuff and GSMArena tests

I have no idea. It was down to 82% once, but then received a software update which supposedly fixed an issue with the battery health readout. Since then it has been steady at 100%, which is why I’m a bit skeptical. Battery still last me a day with pretty good use.

I’m going from 11 Pro to 13 Pro, totally worth it. My battery health is at 91% and it’s time for a change. Always upgrade every 2 years, you don’t see much difference if you upgrade every single year

I’ve never upgraded every year….always been 2 year cycle….but lately it’s literally only been because battery dying, but my 11 pro has been fine so I’m still undecided 🤷‍♂️

I'll go from my X to 13 pro or pro max, time for upgrade. For 11 pro users not worth for now I think.

i had the 11 pro max since it released and have 94%, how did you guys manage to keep it at 100%? did you own it since it released?

anyway, i was thinking the same but with all these trade in offers and deals through the carrier/apple, it seems like its a no-brainer for me...

1st time IUP preapproved for 13 pro to replace 11 Pro.

My battery health is 78%. I’m getting the battery replaced through AppleCare tomorrow and will replace the scratched screen while I’m there.

my 11 Pro will replace my moms 6S Plus which does not seem to function that great anymore.

I just never keep a phone more than 2 years. Sometimes 1 year. I pass up my phones to my parents to keep them on smooth working phones. I always replace the battery and screen right at the end of AppleCare so they get a pretty fresh phone.

My rule is if you have to ask, you don't need it.

If you're asking strangers if it's worth upgrading your iPhone, then the answer is no because if you really needed or wanted to upgrade, you wouldn't ask random people on the internet.

Im with 11 Pro at the moment and for once considering the non pro model.

Not sure if this is crazy, but wonder how much real world difference the 13 pro has over the standard 13 coming from an 11 pro?? I rarely use the tele lens. Only thing I can think is really Lidar.

I may go non pro this year and look for a bigger jump next year

I have a 11 Pro Max 256 and It has 87% battery health and I am looking hard at a store upgrade I probably wait and let iOS 15 mature a bit. I like having the better modem most (11 has the darn Intel modem) then the camera is excellent and now that they improved the battery life verses the 12 PM I am leaning towards a PM 256.

I have the Apple Card at a 0 balance so for the first time ever (for me) I get to buy in the store (and not go buy a AK47 to stand over my porch, just kidding) as my Xs Pro Max was cut out and stolen somewhere in the shipping process and the AirPod's were stolen while being shipped.

As a photographer, I’ll definitely be upgrading my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I do still wish Apple would switch to USB-C for the iPhone Pros. It would make my workflow with my iPad Pro much easier. But it is what it is. I also shoot a lot of video, and am interested in the Pro Res abilities. My iPhone 11 Pro Max is 512 gigs which is more than enough. But Pro Res video will eat up space. Still, i think I’ll go with the 512 again. I am just waiting to see if the 1TB comes with more memory than the 512. If it does, that might sway me. Other than that, I am really excited for this update. I already ditched my dslr for iphone photography. So any improvements to the cameras always gets me excited, and this update is substantial.
