+2 for iCab, I've tried many of the others, iCab beats them hands down. Especially for its download and limited upload support.

Atomic seems to be winning so far. I think that's the best bang for your buck.

Does anybody remember the huge deal about Opera getting into the App store and now nobody uses it?

I sure do remember because I use Opera on my Winders laptop, and have used it on PDAs in the past

But, they have dropped the ball, it hasn't been updated since May, and it's an iPhone /iPod Touch app. They never made it a universal or iPad app. I avoid iPhone only apps like the plague.

I could not believe they never updated it. I was looking forward to a browser with that many resources behind it but nope, never took off.

I used Atomic exclusively until the day I bought iCab... Sorry Atomic, iCab is now my mistress

What makes iCab better than Atomic other than the way it looks?

For me, Atomic crashed a LOT. To the point of being frustrating and unusable. While iCab is not perfect and crashes sometimes too, it's few and far between for me. Much better.

I've had no problems with atomic. I use it for Ipad and iPhone. I am willing to try others. Is icab a lot better?

The fast scroll bar overlaying the web page on "Perfect Browser" is the one thing that wins it for me.

I don't know if any other browsers offer this, but the ability to move your finger up and down about 3" and be able to scroll through an entire long web page is an unbeatable feature and one I think every browser should have.

So much better than having to swipe up and down perhaps a dozen times to get to the bottom of a page.

What are the chances that Apple will allow us to set a "Default Browser" like you can on most other devices?

I don't use Safari and find it annoying that Safari always loads up whenever I touch a link someone emails me, or a link in an app.

There is also the LastPass Tab Browser, I Use Safari because it's the default one anyway

There is a chance, not just for that but for Video files and other stuff, however, apps made by apple always got "Special Treatment" with features Developers can't access
