iPad 1 down to £329 in UK Apple Store

Apple must have a lot of stock of the old iPad remaining in the UK because they've reduced the price by at least £100 on all models.

16GB WiFi model is £329.

Remember we've got two more weeks to wait than the US so they may as well ship as much as they can at a lower price now. Which is handy as we're considering them for work :D
 
Just noticed this too - from £439 to £329.

The iPad 2 isn't on the UK store yet, and on the iPad page it just has a button to notify you when it will be available, so it doesn't look like a March 11th release here in the UK.
 
Just noticed that. It's down to £258 in my location (bangkok). That's so cheap. Still gonna hangout for the iPad2.

16GB Wifi down to $419 Canadian dollars (down from $549). Other models down accordingly. And we likely won't be getting the iPad2 until March 25.

When you click select on UK store it shows £439? can anyone else from UK try this and confirm it.

EDIT: once you continue and go to checkout it is indeed £329!
 
As the UK has seen a much bigger reduction I'm hoping that might mean the iPad 2 will be cheaper when it's released.

The exchange rate is a bit more favourable than it was when the first iPad was released so maybe £399 for the new model? Wishful thinking possibly. Maybe they just have loads of stock to get rid of!
 
looks like the 16GB is back up at £439 but the 32GB is still £399, a database error most likely.

this is what I'm seeing at the moment.

Thats odd my home page is also showing iPad starts from £399 which is the 32GB model.

I think Apple Inc. is gonna have some fun with us today.

EDIT: back to £329 for me again.

Surely the refurbed 16GB WiFi has to drop from £ 379 now?

It's £ 50 dearer than a factory fresh unit!
