Based on the current/clearance (NOT refurbished) pricing for iPad 1:

iPad 1 32GB Wifi = $499 USD

iPad 1 32GB Wifi = $519 CAD

Given that the iPad 2 16GB Wifi price will be $499 USD at launch, I think it's a fair guess that it will be $519 CAD.

Apple must have revised their USD/CAD exchange rates since the Canadian dollar is actually worth a bit more than the US dollar right now. The $20 premium for Canadians will likely carry across most of the iPad 2 lineup since that is the price delta right now for all models of iPad 1. At the launch of iPad 1, the price delta for the 16GB Wifi model was $50 so this is a pleasant downward revision of pricing for Canadians. I hope I'm right!

Yes it would make sense with the exchange rate, and the US dollar is set to depreciate even further this year.

But I'm almost certain the iPad will still be $549. We always get ripped off if you haven't noticed.

Luckily I'll be in the US the week following the 11th.
