Hey, I Was Thinking Of Going Down To Queue Up On Friday 25th

Not Sure What Time I Would Start So Thought Id Ask What Time Others Are Thinking Of Queue'ing Up!

But Yeh Sure If Anyone Else From Birmingham Is Thinking Of Heading Down .. Give Me A Shout !

Really not sure what to do.

Last year for iPad 1 I just went to my local PC World at about 11am on launch day - walked straight in with no queues and purchased one.

Somehow dont think it will be that easy this year.

So undecided on whether to head to the Bulllring or PC World (M6 junction 9) after lunch if its a 5pm launch.

I dont think it would be a 5PM launch in the UK because Apple Store are not taking any genius reservations for the whole day

Its been confirmed now that stores will open at 5pm. Anyone queuing?

Think I am going to order online then try my luck at PC World at about 3pm as I live closer to there. If I get one from PC World will cancel or sell on my online order.

I want to queue...depends if i have someone to come with me. I am supposed to have University in the afternoon but planning on attending lecture in morning, then coming away at lunch time so i miss the practical session which is something minor this week. If that's the case then i'd probably be at the store at 1pm ish. If no one wants to come with me, then i'll just order online.

Same Kind Of Situation With Me Aswell RandyStand Mate, What Time Do You Think People Will Start To Queue?

I personally will head there at 12/1pm. iPhone loaded with Podcasts! :p Anyone want to be line buddies so if anyone want to visit the que we can hold each others place?

I will be getting the 16gb wifi black. I maybe going early to city centre at around 9/10 as I need to do something beforehand, soo I be the first bunch there...hopefully. :p

Hey guys, whos going to be turning up there now? I think im gonna be going there now, would rather rely on Apple than my local Vodafone!

PM me if youre going!

Generally a lurker on this forum but I thought I'd register and say that I'll be going to the Bull Ring on Friday.

Thinking about getting there about 10am so it would be great to have line buddy, as seven hours is going to be a loooooong wait!

I'll be there, around 12:30-1pm depending on getting away from Uni quickly. 4 hours before is surely enough. If not, then that is ridicolous.

After the buzz coming from America of shortages and long lines, i'm wondering if this might persuade more people to turn up early.

This is the first time I've queued for a launch so I've really got no idea what to expect.

I was working on the assumption that it'd be going on sale at 9am, so I'm actually staying the night before in Birmingham anyway, so I'll probably be hanging around in the general area from fairly early on.

I think I'm going to bring a fold out chair, a book and some food to keep myself occupied during the inevitable long wait. Line buddies appreciated; although my wife is joining me at some point, although not until some point in the afternoon because she is sane.

Fold out chair, good book and some food sounds like a great plan.

Think i'm sorted to get there about 10am.

You can't miss me big guy with a big beard!
