You can have TRIM right now for any 2011MBP

Works, just did it. I now have TRIM for my OCZ Vertex 2.
About 10 min with a HEX editor and thats it.

x2, just because it says "Yes" doesn't mean anything. In the 10.6 OS, it could just be a stub with no actual TRIM code.

TRIM support is obviously built into the OS and it does seem like that particular thing is checking for whether the SSD is Apple SSD to enable it rather than checking to display "Yes". So hopefully someone can test it soon to see if write speeds do improve after a certain time.

Anyway, it would be nice to know what is actually being edited.
