POLL: Is White the new Black? Which did you buy?

At Regent Street, the only ones to sell out were the white 3G 16 & 32. Slim stock or is white the new black?

Both.

White for the girlfriend and black for me. We do the same thing with the iPhone. Which is why she still doesn't have an iPhone 4.

I bought a white iPad and I love it so far. Black is also nice but somehow when I think of Apple, I think of white colors.
The white iPad looks better in my eyes.

I had a white 16 wifi on order at the Apple Store online, and just for the heck of it went into Best Buy to see if they had one. They didn't have any to buy, but I did get to see a white iPad 2 in person.

I came home and canceled my order. I ordered a black one and I'll just wait longer to get it. I can't put my finger on it, but there was something about the white one that I didn't like at all. Completely subjective. You folks that love white...more power to you. I was actually disappointed I didn't like it in person, because looking at pictures of it I thought it was really nice and was looking forward to it.

I like Apple's black and silver product, so Black for me.

Got a white. At first I was undecided on which way to go, they had both in stock at the time and was about to say black but then thought screw it, I'll get a white. It's different from my first gen which is good in a way but it's really growing on me. Definitely happy with the decision.

Used the black for a week and just got the white tonight. I like the white so much better.

Hubby has the black, I got the white. He's so sorry now he did not go with the white. It's just so striking.

Where is the choice for both?

Got myself black and the wife white. Really not trying to knock the white but in certain lighting it looks grey or even cream to me and my wife has remarked the same. In the right light the white looks sweet but mostly....not.

Imho black is the way to go.
