Apple "basically" confirms Asteroid

Inside the Garageband 2 package contents is a file named "asteroid.tiff"
It pretty much confirms asteroid existence with Garageband.

Or is it an Easter egg from the developers?

so now its just a case of waiting for them to get their bollox unstuck and release the bloody thing. i've been waiting for something like this from apple for ages.

If "asteroid" is real and even a posiblity, they MUST do it. Just imagine how much money it would save customers who are looking for low end recording option. As I have mentioned on another thread, I am looking to create a mobile recording unit for my church and I need a "break out box" that can handle XLR or TRS. A QUALITY one costs at LEAST $300+ plus tack on another $200 if you by a digi product that includes protools. If they could offer this for $150 and GB2 is part of buying a Mac, I am ALL over that.
