2x Crucial C300 256 gig in RAID0

I just picked up a pair of Crucial C300 256 gig drives to replace my old pair of Vertex 128s. I was really after the additional storage, but there was a nice little performance boost, too. Just posting my results in case anyone else was considering going with this config.

Maybe it's not benching as high as the stated specs for a Vertex 3 240gig, but these were cheaper and available. Besides.. how much performance does a laptop actually need?

Wow.. I just ran xbench again and got a top write of 409 and a top read of 422. Is that even possible?

Is the original config with just one C300? How much faster are they in RAID 0?

The original configuration was 2x OCZ Vertex 128 drives running in RAID0.

Sorry, I haven't had a single drive config in more than 2 years so I wouldn't know how that would be.

The first benchmark I posted was the original config I just described again and the second is the new one that I just installed this evening.
