I doubt the release of white iPhone 4 will affect iMac in any way. Last June Mini was updated only a week after WWDC or so. In the end, white iPhone 4 isn't that big deal, it's the same stuff as black one. May is still plausible, even early May.

Have had the cash but been "pausing" on a MacBook Pro purchase. I was hoping for a bigger refresh and worried about the Thermal Paste / QC posts you see about them.

Not sure why but an updated iMac is sounding real nice right now...it's just not nearly as functional for me as a laptop (and given where it would be for my music recording needs).
