With the new refresh has anyone put WoW to test on the base 21" iMac? I know I'd be better off upgrading but money is somewhat tight right now and I'd rather just pay the computer off in cash then credit it.

Thanks! :D

Same video card as in the high end mbp, albeit with less ram and a higher res, but still, mbp numbers will be useful here.

There are some videos of it running on the MBP on youtube. Disappointing in my opinion. They couldn't even max out settings and get 30+ FPS consistently.

The MBP doesn't run at 1920x1080 though, or does it? I would run the game at native resolution. Thanks for all the answers guys, keep them coming!!

I don't think so. But still, even at a lower resolution it still has a hard time in wow.

Sounds like it will run ok but not everything on high, WoW must have really upped its system requirements with cataclysm.

TY for all your reponses, on a final note would I see a considerable increase going from the 6750 to the 6770? The 6770 at this point is about as high I can go, but is it worth the $300 price tag?

Probably not, you won't see all that much of a performance increase, at least not any that's worth $300.

best to wait for benchmarks. I'm sure they'll be all over the place on this site and elsewhere within a day or two, so hold off on ordering until then.
