Yeah, I got one of those when iLife 04 came out, and another just a week or two ago after iLife 05 came out. Not so bad, compared to how many times I've been hit up to buy QT Pro....
Its easy to get that Quicktime Pro away

Just change the date really far into the future and open QT. You'll get the ad. Close it and reset the time. You wont see that ad until the date you changed it too. ;)

At least i think that should work. I have QTPro so that trick is just from my memory of something i read.

CubaTBird, did you take those photos? Like of the galaxies and Jupiter and all those nature-themed photos and Golden Gate Bridge and well heck all of them? If so very nice photos :)

yea, i got some from that digital blas site.. others are just from random parts of the web ;)

I never got one of those with my iPhoto '04.

They should put up messages like "There is a new version of your iBook available!"

or

"G4? You're still using one of those?? All the ladies like guys that use G5s, why don't you switch to a PowerMac girly-man? I've checked your balance with Quicken and it seems you can afford it if you lease it. Throw in a 30" display, I see from contacts.com that you have pretty poor eyesight... you need a larger monitor!"

And then another window pops up, with, "Oh, and while you're at it, change your socks. Cuz...peee-ewww!" :D

"mkrishnan, you're posts are starting to make no sense. It is time to take your meds again.
Signed,
Your faithful Apple servant."
