Suggestions for Ergonomic alternative to iMac Keyboard and Magic Mouse

Hey all
I'm looking for suggestions for for an Ergonomic alternative to iMac Keyboard and Magic Mouse.
I've been using the above for about a year now and my hands/thumbs are really starting to give me some serious pain.
I'd prefer:-
Wireless.
Without a number keypad (if possible)
Mac compatible (Obviously).

I get pain in my left thumb too, but I put it down to my zealous use of keyboard shortcuts — years of tucking my thumb under to hit the Command key finally catching up with me. A lot of people suffer pain related to prolonged computer use, so keep in mind that a change of keyboard won't necessarily be a cure all. The human body just wasn't designed to sit on its ass and tap away repeatedly with its fingers for upwards of 8 hours every day!

I hear you regarding the Magic Mouse though. I haven't found Apple mice particularly comfortable to use since they ditched the Desktop Bus Mouse II many years ago. I use a very standard Logitech mouse, available just about anywhere for less than $20. There's nothing fancy about it, but it feels right to me. I've been using one for many years, many hours a day, and never had any problems with it. I use one with a cable, but I'm sure they make very similar wireless ones.

I had similar problems, and decided to go with an ergonomic keyboard. The logitech "wave" style has made a huge difference; the pain I was developing in my hands has totally disappeared. The design is just brilliant, palm rest, positioning of the keys just perect:

It also has dedicated keys that can be programmed, a feature which I find incredibly useful for one-click access to Applications, functions such as zooming, iTunes controls, etc.

I find that using a Trackball mouse also helps enormously, especially one that is designed to ergonomically fit the shape of the hand. Logitech makes one that I found here:

I have enjoyed (and still do) on my Razer Mamba. Although I don't game anymore to appreciate it enough, but it's the best handling mouse I have ever owned. And I have gone through many many premium mouses (Logitech G*, pretty much any model in G single digit serie, Razer Boomslang... etc)

If you are not into gaming mouses, I suggest Logitech Revolution MX... easily the best non-gaming mouse out there.

Best ergonomic keyboard is a Goldtouch

They are, alas, both expensive and wired. You can get one without a numberpad, so you hand isn't reaching out awkwardly to the mouse. The bend and angle is adjustable to fit your neutral typing position.

If you want something nice to type on and without a number pad, Filco Ninja Mechanical Keyboards are the way to go. Another one is the latest Cooler Master Storm Quickfire Rapid Mechanical Keyboard.

As far as ergonomic go, I'd leave that to both Logitech and Microsoft. Both have excellent ergonomic keyboards. I personally enjoyed Microsoft's Comfort 5000.

As for mouses are concerned, gaming mice are the way to go. I'd recommend you check out the Mionix NAOS 3200. It's a plug-n-play mouse and it feels amazing in the hand.

Ergonomics are very important for sure, but do they have to look like crap too? Nothing in white guys and with a design that doesn't make the eyes bleed?

Kinesis Advantage Pro. Best (and probably most expensive) ergonomic keyboard by far. Logitech and Microsoft keyboards suck compared to that. It's not wireless but you don't buy a keyboard like that for bells and whistles. You buy it purely for its ergonomics. For mice, I prefer the Logitech Performance MX mouse.
