Just got my iPad and was all set to drop some cash but then I looked at the reviews for most of those EA games are awful what happened

sim city is definitely worth $2.

Does it crash? That's the only thing from making me purchase it right now.

It's $1, not $2!

I just bought Madden, Scrabble, Price is Right & Pinball. I'm aching to purchase Press Your Luck but hear the game play is terrible; but i'm dying for "no whammy, no whammy stop!" :p

Have some money to spend on games... Can't decide which ones though!

Thanks a lot bro! Downloaded:

Gravity Hook
TowerMadness
SuperStickman Golf

All free :D

I never buy apps, waiting for garageband to become free lol

Yes, and I'm waiting for it to become free lol.

And how much did you pay for your iPad? $400? $600? $800?

Dude, it's five bucks. iMovie has been out a year and it's still not free.
You probably spend $5 easy on a Subway sandwich or Starbucks tall latte.

If five bucks breaks your bank, maybe the iPad wasn't the most economically sound choice for you.

I'll probably play with it for like five minutes, no reason to pay lol. Just want it on my iPad. Not cheap but I dont buy digital content, ever. That includes music and movies lol.

That's cool and understandable if you need to save money, but not if you're using piracy to rip off the creators of the content.

Anyway, just got SimCity for iPad.

Disappointed... I guess I'm spoiled on the details of SimCity 4. This just bores me.. it lacks the charm of the original SimCity, yet lacks the detail & options of the newer versions. I have gotten some enjoyment from it though (99 cents worth, I guess) and no crashes to report so far.

I understand the main point of this version is balancing the happiness of your citizens along with a budget, but I was disappointed to be able to get tower-sized buildings within just a few minutes of playing, and that my tiny city, only a few blocks wide, had 18,000 people already.

But if you enjoyed SimCity 2000/3000 but would like to see a quicker version of the game for pick-up-and-play value with updated graphics, you'll enjoy it.

After seeing that list, Space Miner HD caught my attention.

Bought it. It's a fun little game.
I love the combination of Asteroid-like arcade action mixed with the strategy progression through buying upgades.
