Hey guys,

Haven't posted in a while, but have a question about hard drives. I'm looking to replace my 2007 MBP with the current 15" MBP. Looking to get this computer because unlike the vast majority, I like the idea of having a disk drive and want to get this model before the inevitable taking out of the drive. My real question is for the hard drives in these machines. I don't really do any video or photo editing so I assume I should get the 750 GB... just looking for input/confirmation here. Thanks in advance guys.

Depends whether you'd like to have the increase in speed or the increase in storage. I went with speed, but if you're not doing photo/video editing or gaming, you probably wouldn't notice a difference in speed between the two (maybe slightly on bootup or starting large apps.)
