So I just put iOS5 on my iPad and iPhone (everything has been really really good btw).

When I was going through the settings on my iPhone, I was happy to see that the Personal Hotspot was front and center along with everything else, instead of being buried in the menus. I was going through it and it just decided to click it on.. and it started to broadcast and my iPad was able to join it.

This is how it is supposed to work.. I get that. The thing that is confusing the heck out of me is that I do not have this feature enabled on my verizon account.

Has this happened to any other iOS 5 testers??

yep, it's enabled right now. Pretty happy about this.

I wonder how this will play out on my bill..

On iOS 4.2.6, i tried to use hotspot and was redirected to a vzw page to purchase the feature. It is my understanding that for some unknown reason it's working now, but will be patched later.
I don't think you have anything to worry about.
