So I'll be updating this thread but I'm going to be running and posting my 11" 128GB i5 Battery Life results.

3 Hours (Exact) - I had full screen brightness on, full keyboard brightness on, and got through the movies Get Him To The Greek and 1/2 of Waterboy on iTunes in fullscreen mode.

I'm impressed with that. I normally only use 1 bar brightness on Keyboard (since that's all I need) and I'm about 50% on screen brightness.

I'm sure I'd get 5 hours out of this thing.

Going to run some more test with just web browsing too.

I usually use 1 bar of brightness keyb and 50% on screen as well. 5 hours of just web surfing and not-too-cpu-intensive tasks would be really great.

please tell me how it goes.

Waterboy - seriously?

Was my first thought as well, but it probably is a masterpiece compared to the new crappy movie from Sandler that is coming out.

For hilarity watch this video:

George C Scott watches the Jack and Jill Trailer

Anyway, back on topic. I am still curious to see someone do a side-by-side battery test of the 11" i7 vs the 11" i5. I am still betting that the difference will only be about ~10 minutes less (on the i7) on regular web use, and maybe ~20 less with heavy use.

Lol I actually didn't watch them...I kept it running in my room and when it was down to 5% I watched it turn off and it made it to exactly 3 hours on the dot.

But anyways, that movie was awesome! lol

Thats really good. I've yet to test out my MBA 13 but I've ordered an 11 inch model now ( can't decide which one is best for me) so I'm going to test them both in terms of the battery, but thanks for letting us know.

So is the recommendation i5 for maximum battery charge, or does it not matter between the i5 and i7?
