iPhone 14 Pro 12 > 14 pro battery life

Will be upgrading soon from my regular 12. I’m a relatively heavy user and have never rated the battery of the 12. Understand the pro will never be the battery champ like the pro max but is there anyone who’s made this upgrade or perhaps from the 12 pro who can share their experience?

12’s have proven that they are one of the series with the weakest battery life among iPhones in the past years, it is very possible that you will see a noticeable difference with the 14 pro

Let’s hope so. I’ve seen a lot of negative reports on the 14 pros battery but this is from people coming from the 13 pro. I would hope it would beat my 12 by a couple of hours at least. Will be turning off AOD from day one.

May have to go for the pro max if it isn’t an improvement.

i think turning off AOD will make the battery life superior to the iphone 13 pro or at least on par with it because we have a more efficient modem and a more efficient processor also lpddr5 consumes less energy than lpddr4x. On the other hand, we have a screen that can be brighter under intense daylight, maybe this will have a negative effect on battery life when 2000nit is fully used, but this is a conditional variable when other efficient components are constantly active.
