So I spilled water on my Ipad Pro 12.9 and am now paying $428.00 for a display replacement. I get the beep when I connect it to the charger and the tech guy saw an vague image of the Apple logo so he thinks the backlight mechnism was damaged. I was looking at waterproof cases and it appears there is no way to charge the Apple Pencil 2 I have. How do they sell these cases if you have to actually go to the hassle of removing them to charge the pencil. What am I missing here?
By the way folks KEEP YOUR IPAD AWAY FROM WATER. The warranty does NOT cover water damage and it does not take much. Mine was a half a glass of a small glass of water that skated across the Ipad and that was still enough to do the damage.
