12" iBook updates?

I was thinking of getting a 12" iBook this summer... basically a pretty high spec one. But I wasn't sure when they had last been updated, and whether they were due for a major overhaul?

Should I just go ahead and buy, or wait a bit? What's the likelihood that they will be updated soon? If they are updated, will it be by much? And when?
