Looking at caudable and a few others on Amazon. Been going caseless the first few days but don’t think that’s the best idea for the long run (mainly with the kids!)...

I am pretty pleased with this one from Torras (Crystal Clear). I don't use MagSafe, but this one is thin enough that my Qi chargers work fine. So I assume MagSafe would work with it as well. The phone will also still attach to a magnetic mount in my car through this case. Probably not robust enough to survive a drop from head height, but for everyday use I'm satisfied with it. It's not too stiff so it's pretty easy to get on and off.

I’ve got another similar one coming that should be in the mail today. If it‘s worthwhile (or terrible) I’ll report back.

So the other case I just got today is this Spigen Liquid Crystal. It is almost identical to the other (Torras Crystal Clear) case I posted above. At the time I ordered them the Spigen was a few dollars cheaper. It is just a little bit stiffer (therefore, just a little bit harder to get on and off the phone) than the other case, but still pliable and not completely rigid. The Spigen also has some markings on it that the Torras lacks. Almost unnoticeable unless you're looking, but I could still do without the branding. Case is otherwise exactly the same in terms of size and thickness, and Qi charger works fine with this case on the phone as well.

This looks pretty good. It looks like it pr retains the square shape and edges, as opposed to rounding them off like a lot of cases. True?

Seems like there are a handful of these on amzn that are almost identical. Mine came today from ANEMAT and it’s nice for $12. I sent the Spigen back but this seems the same without any branding. Some ovals shapes in corners around the bezel. Initial impressions that bother me are the lint showing up on the back side (blue phone) and then the top lip doesn’t quite sit all the way down/flush to top of the phone.

That’s hard to answer and harder to photograph, especially with a clear case. The edges are somewhat rounded, more so than the phone itself, but in my subjective opinion, not overly so. I don’t have any other cases to use as a basis for comparison.

I’m using a Casekoo. My daughter likes it on her 12 Pro after a defective Caudabe scratched her phone on the side. I liked Casekoo on my 12. Now I have a 12 mini and in combination with a Casekoo case and Yootech screen protector I have not had that capacitive touch problem people are talking about on the mini. I don’t know if that is due to my case and screen protector combo or something else. The Casekoo sides are thick and protective but optically clear. There are micro dots on the plastic to keep the case from clinging to the phone forming those “oil slicks” that some clear cases do. The only writing is the brand name near the 5G antenna.

@GrumpyMom, thanks! Those look great. Might try the matte blue. I’m waiting on a $9 tozo but if you’ll add pics of that case on the mini if you can, would appreciate it...

i bought 6 clear cases and returned them all (for my blue mini). they were all too slippery and attracted finger prints like nobodies business. splurged for the official apple silicon case instead. decided i'd rather have a non-broken phone with a non-clear case than a broken phone that slipped out of my hand due to a clear case.

i tried torras, yoomas, moko, luvvitt, anlcqc and spigen

I have the same case on a 12 Pro Max and it’s great
