12" PB purchase"

I am considering purchasing a 12" Powerbook and then adding an external monitor. A few questions--

Where can I find the history of the 12" PB models?
What is the maximum size external screen the 12" PB will take?
Any tips for where to purchase other than eBay?

Thanks for any responses to this, my first post.

Btw, I am not new to Mac, my first was a 128k, currently 1.25G4 eMac.

Im running my 1.5GHz 12" pb on a 20" widescreen monitor with no probs, it ran fine on 22" too.

Craigslist for your area is usually a good source for a PB. That way you can see it before you buy. Better than ebay.

Thanks for the tips. I now have the info I was looking for, although any additional suggestions on where to find a good used refurbished 12" PB would be helpful. I couldn't find anything close to me on Craigslist.
