So I had the green tint issue since release day on my 12 PM. After iOS 14.5 update which hasn’t resolved the problem for me, I decided to hand my phone to authorized service provider, they confirmed an issue and replaced my screen. New screen seemed a lot better, with only slight green tint and 0 flickering issues. However, once dark mode turned on I noticed those purple artifacts on most areas where grey meets black. I have heard and knew about smearing, but is this purple hue normal ? Anyone else experienced? Looks a lot worse than green tint to me. Happens on any brightness level, most noticable at 30%.
Can anyone reproduce on theirs? I even got a new phone which was on ios 14.4.1 and it was perfect with no smearing almost, once i updated to 14.5 i see it even on a new phone, can anyone relate?
