12" PowerBook and 7200rpm drives

I am looking at HD upgrade options for my 12" PowerBook and the new 100GB 7200rpm drives are tempting. But, there are mixed messages about heat. Some comments I have heard suggest that they are too hot to run in the tight 12" PB, others that they should be alright.

Has anyone actually tried this and has some real-world experience of the outcome?
