I have a new 12" powerbook. And I wanted to burn some stuff, but I wanted to see if ANYONE has ever used the smaller CD-Rs discs? If not, do you think I would encounter probs? Just want to go off someone's knowledge or past experience. Anyone?

To be frank, I've been too scared to put one of the small CD's in the slot.

Regular size discs seem to be cheaper, anyway.

Thanks for the fast reply...I was going to place one in but had a larger CD, so I used that instead...I wish APPLE could at least give you fair warning in the manual...I mean, don't you think its in theeir place? Just for kicks, if someone did place one in there and it mess up the slot-drive or whatever else could happen and you have APPLE care, would they honor the fixes or would I one have to pay extra?!

you will F up your drive if you put a small CD in any slot loading drive (old imac, powerbooks). Tray loading Drives are ok though.

the 12" powerbook manual 'getting started' does say not to add any other type of CD, other than the standard size
