I've been dealing with this problem ever since I upgraded to a 12 pro max. I'm currently running 14.4.1 but this issue has been occuring since I got the phone with probably 4.2 or 4.3. I can't remember.
I noticed that Carplay would crash and causes apps such as Camera, Whatsapp, Nest, etc. to not launch even after I disconnect from Carplay. The only way I could fix the issue is to restart. This is so painful because I use Carplay every time I drive around and it breaks the phone until I restart. The issue would occur 90% of the time.
I did a clean install with no luck. I'm not sure what the issue is.
