iPhone 13 12 Pro Max or 13

Hi I have a 12 PM that I had planned on trading in for new 13PM and was also planning on upgrading my daughter to 13 from her XR. Now I am wondering if she’d be better off with my almost-new 12PM and just trading in her old XR plus my husband’s XR that’s been sitting in a drawer as a backup device. It will end up close to the same out-of-pocket expense so I just want to give her the better device. 12 PM is “almost new” bc it was a replacement under Apple Care Plus in early September so has a new battery, no scratches, etc. Just wanted some opinions - difficult to find online comparisons between these two models. She’s okay with the bigger screen bc she now has a watch so it comes down to camera, screen quality, battery life, etc.

I had a 6 month old 12 max and my wife a 2.5 year old XR, sold her XR, she has the 12 max and I have the 13 max. Happy days.

Okay it’s more expensive this way I think about by about $340 but I’m thinking 12 Pro Max is better phone than 13 feature-wise. This is where I’m having hard time finding direct comparison between the two.

From my quick look the main thing she would get with the 13 but not with the 12PM is the cinematic video mode... Other than that it seems that the 12 Pro Max is the better device on all fronts.

I would give her your 12PM and get a 13PM for yourself. I went from an 8 to 13PM and the battery alone is worth the upgrade. Screen is nice but you know that from tbe 12pm. Cameras while nice are not a gamer changer.
