I just pre pre-ordered my silver 12Pro Max.

Is it supposed to save me time when the pre orders start this Friday?
 
Are you sure you actually placed an order? I believe you just did the "Pre-Qualify" for when the pre-order goes into effect. See the front page here on MR...

I didn't place an order I prepared my order. Apple calls it Getting Ready for Pre Order.
