Does this exist? I never thought to look before but now that there are optibay hd replacements etc... why wouldn't there be an aftermarket superdrive replacement that is CD-R/DVD-R/Blu Ray??

There are very few slot loading external blu ray readers and as far as I am aware they are all slightly too big to fit inside the Mac.
This has been discussed countless times and a search of the forums would've brought you your answer. No slot loading blu-ray drive exists that is small enough to fit in the MBP.
Plus, you'd have to run Bootcamp to actually use it for watching movies.
