Macbook Pro specs:
:apple: Mid 2010 version of Macbook Pro
:apple: Intel i5 2.53 GHz
:apple: 8GB of 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM

Thank you! :)

are you aware that Blu-Rays do not play natively within any Mac OS?

Literally made a thread about this yesterday or the day before...click my name, go to stats, go toy threads and check it out it'll be useful!

Yes I am, I just wanted to find an internal bluray drive that I could install in my Macbook Pro and run softwares and rip BD's

From what I read when I was helping someone out with their blu ray drive in a new windows desktop, Windows 7 doesn't have native support for blu ray either, in the sense that it won't play in Windows Media Player.

That being said I doubt there is a blu ray drive that will fit. I don't know of anyone that goes out and puts a new drive into a MacBook Pro. Could have to do with custom slimmed drives in Apple's notebooks.

You need ArcSoft TotalMedia or PowerDVD's product. It plays perfectly in Windows Media Player then.
