is there a point of using more than 60hz MacBook Pro when you dont play games it?

I just like smooth displays. Scrolling, animations, etc. is all much smoother and more fluid. It looks awesome on the iPad and it's going to look amazing on the Mac.

The other advantage of these displays, on the opposite end of spectrum, is that they can adaptively ramp down their refresh rates to match your content (to a minimum of 24Hz) and save some battery life.

Everything is just better. When I work on my 120hz monitor the smoothness makes day to day tasks more enjoyable and pleasant. Simple as that for me

what are the chances the MB Air will have ProMotion?
Highly unlikely IMO. They're already giving it mini-LED, which I'm surprised by, but I'd imagine the cart stops there. They need to keep important distinguishing factors between the Air and 14" Pro so people can justify the added cost.

Ahhh, I greatly look forward to having an all-120Hz workflow. My iPhone, iPad and MacBook will all have it - I'm hoping they make an external monitor with it sometime within the next couple of years, too.

Only outlier will be my poor 60Hz iPad mini :( and the Watch but I don't count that
