Hi

I'm using a 3.1 i5 quad core 27" iMac, with Lion.

Everything has been fine since I got it last week but I installed CleanMyMac and ran a few scans and after that I tried to move some files I downloaded off my desktop into another folder I created where I keep all mt stuff.

Now everytime I try and move or copy a file into that folder I get an ERROR 0

What could be the problem here?

I created a new folder and was able to move those files no problem.

Thanks for looking. And if you need more info please just ask me.

Hello Snipez,

I'm afraid that the problem you describe is most likely related to some permission errors. It cannot be related to CleanMyMac in any way, because it is an issue of a completely different sort, not cleanup.

However, you should be able to easily fix it by verifying and repairing permissions using the Disk Utility app. Or, you can just delete that folder and create it again with the same name. It is a quite common error and you can read a bit more about it here as well, the problem is that it can have different causes:

OK, thank you

I ran those utilities and the problem is still there

I will try deleting the folder and making a new one.
