Hey everyone!

I am new to the iphone family, currently and Ipad Macbook user. I am looking for a case that is good for a drop or two that doesn't cover up the back up the phone to the point of not seeing the awesome white color.

I do want protection though. I had a hard rubber case on my last smartphone and I could throw it across the room haha (not gonna do that here) but I just don't want that glass to shatter :)

Thanks!!!

Any pics would be great too!

P.S. The Latest round up from this thread I have been compiling is here: http://listentotristan.blogspot.com/2011/10/need-case-for-white-iphone-4s.html

Either a bumper case:

Or a clear case:

My Mom has a white iPhone 4 so similar to the s in appearance.... My mom had a lime green bumper with some cheap glass protector films I ordered from deal extreme. The white is very flashy in that case and my mom loves the colours together. If you want me to post the link reply :)

Yes please.

I wanna make sure I have ample protection on the back and on teh sides. So maybe ghost armor and a bumper is the best bet?

The Whiteout by Element case is amazing looking. By far the best looking case you can get for a white iphone. Its kind of expensive but they make great cases.

I'm not seeing the Neo Hybrid EX II being listed for the 4S. Will it still fit?
They don't even have it listed for the Verizon iP4.

That case is only for the AT&T iPhone 4. I just got 2 of the Linear Color cases. I think the ones with the clear back would be nice too.

BUMP! I would like to know what this clear case is as well?

I have been on the hunt for a nice case to display the white from my iPhone 4S and still nothing! Any recommendations? Even if it has a nice smokey/matte finish is fine!

I have never once owned a hard shell case because I feel as though they are not going to protect the phone from a drop. How do these hold up?

If you're trying to protect from drops, I would get a rubber case. The Incipio Feather is more for protecting from scratches while still having a very thin case. I feel like this case (clear version) is the best to show off the white color while still offering some kind of protection.

Looks like the Speck SeeThru. Too bad it won't fit the 4S/Verizon iPhone 4 cuz of the vibrate switch cutout.

If you want something similar, then this one will work

Nope, not a speck case ;)

I got the Incase Pro Slider in white. Won't show of the true white of the iPhone but it's white!

I use a clear Belkin on my black iPhone 4 (free case program). I started using it after my bumper started falling apart. I like it. I'm not afraid to place my phone on a table or anything and I've dropped it once or twice. I don't have a screen protector and my phone has held up pretty well.

Might just use it on my white iPhone 4S, but was thinking of getting some protective film for the front and back and just going virtually naked. Hrmmm

Link to the clear Belkin you have please? So dropping your phone a few times it is still fine? That is my main concern! To protect it!

http://www.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Product_Id=512038, I think.

It's not super fancy, but it does what it's supposed to do. Not thick either, but still thick enough to notice a difference with it off compared to when it's on. Doesn't cover from the headset hole to the power button, nor from the bottom left speaker to the right, but that's fairly common, I'd say. Mine definitely has some scratches, so better it than my phone!

I'm going for a Gear4 Icebox Edge, combination of style and protection I think. SwitchEasy Vulcan clear is another option if you want silicone :)
