I can't seem to connect to aim anymore after I updated this morning. I'm getting an error that says "iChat can't communicate with the account AIM." I've deleted my account and remade it, restarted my macbook, restarted ichat, and nothing works.

Is anyone else having this problem, or have any tips on how I can fix it?

I had the same problem and read about the solution on Appleinsider: just uncheck "Use SSL" in the server settings for you AIM account in the preferences . Worked for me!

Yeah, that's what I did. Thanks. Hope I can turn SSL back on later though!

You can leave SSL checked and change the server from api.oscar.aol.com to slogin.oscar.aol.com
