No badges for the Reminders app?

Any word on if this is ever going to happen? I don't understand how or why badges were left out of this app.... Any insight anyone?

Would a badge be helpful? For me, there are always alerts pending and the number of them wouldn't be much assistance. Reminder alerts can be a banner or mid-screen alert (or none) but will be listed in the notification panel.

Exactly. They found it redundant to have it available to be seen from the notification screen along with having a badge over the application as well.

Also, for many people, I'm sure the reminder will stay there for a while and having constant badges on your screen to "email dad" would get tiring as youre going to get around to doing it eventually.

Badges aren't pretty.
