Ear Speaker Not Working on new 4S?

Anyone else having the problem of the ear speaker not functioning on the new iPhone 4S?? I'm not sure what to do. Mine doesn't work at all.
 
Sorry if this sounds like I'm asking a dumb question, but did you take the plastic off the front? I got "bit" by this "problem" last year when I bought an iphone4...

AH! Wow. Talk about a dumb moment. Thank you SO much for sharing. You enabled me to fix the problem. Thank you again!! 🙂

I was trying to preserve the screen with the original plastic wrap until my screen protector I ordered comes in.

Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated!

Just took my plastic wrap off of the front of the phone and that resolved the issue.

ALSO- It's worth mentioning that the plastic wrap on the back will cause camera quality to suffer. Take the wrap off for the best pictures. Hope this helps.

mainly because i did the same thing! but to my credit i immediately wondered if the plastic was the issue 😛
