Why do some still consider the white iPhone 4/4s girly?

Let them think what they want. I'm a male and white is my favorite color; weird, huh? I like white because its clean looking. I will always buy white cars and put in very dark tint. Looks awesome.

I have the white. It's really a beautiful piece of technology / equipment. I went out and bought an Otterbox Commuter for it. I think the black border and white face is really hawt.

Do not consider it girley but unless you really work at it, it gets nasty looking quickly. I have seen several of my friends white phones and . . . well lets just say I am glad I picked black!

Yah i don't think its a situation of people thinking its girly. More of just a color opinion.

I don't like it for 2 reasons.

I think high priced things in white tend to look cheap (despite it being something like an iphone) I have a 2011 mazda 3, and i saw my model in white and in comparison it just looked super cheap in white.

Also as others have said, they see the white iphones getting dingy and dirty and sometimes yellow.

But yah its not girly by any means, just not some peoples cup o tea!

I've always had black iPhones until now. At first I was like hmm.. But now, 24 hours later. The white iPhone 4S = sickness. It looks so fresh and honestly looks more classy, stylish, and like a real iPhone than the black. Plus, almost everyone has the black. I have the white with the Griffin Reveal case (black). It looks.. Awesome.

White is one of the best choices I've ever made.

I've always naturally thought of it as a more feminine colour. Ironically I don't understand why people don't understand that theory, I live in a big city and would rarely see men with white phones, only women.

HOWEVER, the iPhone 4S is a game changer for that. I love it, in fact I can't stop looking at it.

The following might explain why some people associate it with women: I pulled it out at work yesterday for the first time, a big office, and Im the first person to get the White iPhone. The first few things I heard were 'it looks gay'. But it was all in jest. After a few minutes looking at it, that feeling disappears and to most people it looks damn cool.
