Bye bye to sprint unlimted

Exactly. This is the only thing Sprint has going for it over AT&T and Verizon. They won't be canceling this for cell phones at least for a while. This is why some people are moving to Sprint.
A. yes this is not for cell phones. I've never tethered so no biggie.
B. They just changed your contract. If you really want to bail on Sprint because of the data speed's. Now is the time. You can leave without a ETF I "THINK". If they change your contract it gives you the right to say no and walk..

This affects 4G wireless broadband plan for tablets, Netbooks, notebooks, USB cards, and Mobile Hotspot devices.
Your iPhone4S and other 4G cellphones are still safe.
So this is how unlimited free internet dies. At least the iPhone will be remembered as the phone that killed unlimited internet.
Personally I'm glad. To be honest, I hope they limit to less than 2GB too.
I really can't imagine going over that limit. I've been constantly streaming Pandora for days now and still will not even come close to reaching 2GB in a month.
Plus, this means faster speeds for everyone else
I personally think unlimited data is a gimmick. Sure, some people will be able to use it to the max, but for most, 2GB is more than enough... especially if you are near a wifi connection at any time at all (and with home/work/school, most people should be).

It doesn't mean faster speeds for anyone. You can still gobble up all the data you want, if you pay for it. If they truly wanted to speed up their network, then after you reach 2GB, you wouldn't be able to use data until the next billing cycle.
But 4G was unlimited and that's what is being discontinued. Then again, with Sprint not many folks had 4G in the first place with their snail's pace rollout.
