So I got my RAM upgrade today for the server (aka. my mac mini) and am running at a maxed 1GB. To those wondering if its worth it? H-E-double hockey sticks YES! My little beast even surprised me - quick, zippy, responsive...
After upgrading the mini, I dropped the extra 256MB chip into the powermac and I figured I would see how it dominates the mini on xbench score. Believe it or not, the mini came within 2 points of my Dual 867 workhorse...and thats with the weak disc performance!
Needless to say, I am very very impressed with the performance improvement. Of course I paid a premium by ordering from Crucial, but why risk getting bad ram, right?
Heres some links.

Mac Mini 1.25Ghz/1GB/40GB 5400RPM? benchmark - (115.40)

Yeah, I realize that benchmarks mean nothing but I got to say I am pleased nonetheless.
