A blast from the past - black screen of death of iPhone 4S

My iPhone 4S seems to do this at least once a day - blank screen (having been locked/timedout) and won't come alive to button presses.

I know how to reset it - both buttons, 10 seconds etc etc, but I was lucky not to experience this on my 4, or 3GS.

With it happening so frequently, I'm worried its a hardware fault.

I haven't yet restored, but I'm going to. Just wondered if anyone was noticing this more on ios5/4s ?

Yes, this is a hardware(iPhone 4S) issue, and you should take it in for a replacement.

At least the refurbs are still 'new' at the moment 🙁
