I am on AT&T and when I am at my work location I can only get internet while I'm talking on the phone, when I end the call no more data over 3G. I have been having this problem for the last 8 to 10 days and I called AT&T support many times. Support has no idea what the problem is. When I do get data over 3G it's very fast.

On previous calls to support they said a tower has been down, but on the last few calls no one knows of any towers down in the area. I can drive two blocks from where I work and all works as it should. So I assume it's a tower issue and I am just inside the range to be on that tower.

I was just wondering if anyone has ran into this issue and if there is a quick fix. Most likely it's not a common issue since support has never heard of this before but who knows they have told me all sorts of stories.

I have restored ios5, reset network setting, reset settings and rebooted many times. I don't see how it could be the phone if it works properly when I'm not at this location.

I doubt there is a way to change towers but if anyone knows of a way to do that I would appreciate it.

Boy I bet Verizon would like to have this issue. :)
