Hi All

Not sure if this is the right place for this - but after installing Wireshark to do some packet capture, I can't reach 127.0.0.1 on my Mac running Big Sur. Even pings just time out. I've removed Wireshark plus the ChmodBPF and system path add-ons, but I still can't get a response from localhost. I can reach the machine on the DHCP IP just fine.

The problem is I don't have the first clue on where to look. The localhost route looks fine to me, but I'm not an expert:

Wireshark might be a red herring but I'm convinced it's broken something.

Edit: Probably worth mentioning traceroute also times out after multiple hops.

Anyone any ideas?

TIA

Si
